Seminyak Pub Crawls
Seminyak is the expensive version of Bali and it knows it. The beach club circuit is the primary activity: Ku De Ta (now COMO Beach Club) and Potato Head at the north end of Seminyak Beach, La Favela in the village itself, and Motel Mexicola two streets back. These are day-to-night operations where a sun lounger and a cocktail at 3pm transitions into dinner and a DJ set by 8pm without anyone asking you to move. The beach clubs are expensive by Bali standards and mid-range by global ones. Kuta and Legian, south of Seminyak, run a completely different, cheaper, and louder circuit if the beach club format is not the point.

What You'll Pay
Cocktail at Potato Head or COMO: IDR 120,000–200,000 (roughly $8–13). Bintang at a Seminyak warung or local bar: IDR 35,000–50,000. Dinner at a Seminyak restaurant with two drinks: IDR 300,000–600,000 per person. La Favela charges no entry but is impossible to find a table without booking on Friday and Saturday. Club entry at Kuta's Sky Garden (the club, not the restaurant): IDR 75,000–150,000 including a drink. A full Seminyak beach club evening runs IDR 500,000–800,000.
Best Nights
Seminyak beach clubs are worth doing on a weekday (Monday–Wednesday) when they operate at 60% capacity and you can actually hear the music rather than the crowd. Friday and Saturday the pools fill up by noon. La Favela is best on Thursday: the crowd is a mix of locals and mid-stay visitors rather than the weekend influx. Sundays at Potato Head run a long lunch session with sunset DJs that has been running for years.
Practical
Seminyak has no public transport. Grab operates from Bali and is the reliable option for anywhere on the main circuit. Motorbike taxis (ojek) from the street are cheaper but uninsured; factor this into decisions. A Grab from Seminyak to Kuta is IDR 20,000–40,000, to Canggu is IDR 60,000–100,000 depending on traffic. Traffic on the main Seminyak–Kuta road on Friday evenings is significant; budget extra time. Beach clubs use IDR; most accept cards.
