The Bohol Nightlife Scene

Bohol's nightlife centres on Alona Beach in Panglao, where a strip of bars runs along the sand. It is quieter than Manila or Cebu. Most visitors are here for diving, island hopping, and the Chocolate Hills, so the evening scene skews relaxed. Party boats departing from Panglao pier are the closest thing to a proper night out.

Best Nights

Fridays and Saturdays see the most activity on Alona Beach. The party boat runs multiple evenings per week. Outside of peak season (December to May), weeknights are very quiet.

Practical

Grab and tricycles are the main transport. From Tagbilaran port or airport to Panglao is about 30 minutes. Most bars on Alona Beach close by midnight.
